Welcome

THIS BLOG IS A MEMORIAL  TO JOY WHO DIED OF COMPLICATIONS FROM THE TREATMENT OF LYMPHOMA.

Please subscribe so you will get a notice of new postings.

If the photos are small, sometimes clicking on them will enlarge them; if they are distorted clicking on them will refine them.  They look good from my side but just depends on what computer they go to.

And check the Archives for posts you may have missed.

      Hi DeLaney,

it used to be that you could get a letter from a doctor or therapist to make your dog a legal PSD. i did that with Joy many years ago, carried a letter from my therapist stating she was my PSD and she wore a vest saying she was a working dog. but the law has gotten more stringent and you have to jump through many more hoops to have your dog legal and certified so it can accompany you as a SD. check out this website for more info: http://www.psychdog.org/index.html. you might also talk to Tom Brownlee in Helena for more information on how to get your dog certified. here is his website: http://www.psdcaninelogistics.com/overview.php. please feel free to email me privately if you have more questions: birddog@mt.net

also, i may be misunderstanding you. it sounds like you need a service dog for physical help or a psychiatric service dog which is what i referenced for you. you can also get your dog registered as a Therapy Dog but the intent is not for your personal use but to provide therapy to other people. here is a website to check that out: http://www.therapydogs.com/
